Building construction involves a large amount of time, energy and money. It is important to ensure this investment of resources achieves best value, meets your needs and complies with the requirements of the many legislative bodies and Acts which control development.
Lawrence-Vacher provide a building design service to commercial, residential and public sector clients. Projects include new build, extensions, alterations, conversion, refurbishment of existing buildings and the redevelopment of underutilised or redundant buildings and land.
We advise and guide the client through the legal process, make and negotiate planning applications, including the preparation of design and access statements and sustainability reports, obtain building regulation approval and advise on health and safety, disabled access, party wall and other legislative requirements.
Where the project requires, we work closely with other consultants – architects, structural engineers, services engineers – to fully integrate the design to meet the client’s aspirations and budget.
Our architectural and design services can be undertaken as a stand alone commission, but are often combined with contract administration to provide the client with a comprehensive service from project inception to completion of building works.
